Heidi did
not like being summoned, Aro knew that best of all. She was loyal only to him, so having Caius of all beings demand her presence had her in a foul mood. Heidi was never one to be grouchy or bitter, she was normally quite sweet and pleasant, but today was very different. She was almost as old as the three brothers, approaching her four thousandth year. She did not deserve to be treated like one of the newcomers.
Making her way to the throne room where the three brothers usually resided, Heidi ran a hand through her long hair in an attempt to brush it away from her face. The tall brunette was known for her beauty, that was her strength and used it daily to lure tourists to the castle for the three brothers to feast on. She figured Caius was simply grouchy because she had yet to do so today. Her time otherwise occupied and rightfully so.
Raising an eyebrow as Ben arrived just before her, Heidi wondered why he tried so hard to please Caius. Caius was bitter constantly and easily not worth Heidi's time or commitment, but she still valued her life so remained loyal when he requested it.
Her violet eyes were focused on the red ones belonging to Caius. If Ben was here, that meant she wasn't being sent out for
food. Heidi wasn't used in combat, it wasn't her place. Despite the Volturi being completely power hungry and control hungry, they still believed men were the ones to do the fighting. The females of the group were lucky that the men had the most extraordinary abilities. It saved them from having to get their hands dirty.
Though standing here with Ben had Heidi wondering if she was being sent out for something else. Or perhaps if Aro had figured out that she, Felix and Ben had taken part in attempting to reunite both Marcus and Didyme. Still, that didn't add up. Caius wouldn't really care enough about that, it mainly concerned Aro.
Then again, Caius liked causing pain. Punishment was right up his alley.
"How can I be of assistance?"
