Brady had spent the last few days with Hailey Black, he'd actually come to quite like the girl, and had at least started to become good friends with her. He found he liked spending time with her, it wasn't anything like an imprint, but then again he was 14, what would he know about feeling's that strong? But it was just having a friend, a comfortable, relaxed thing with someone that wasn't his brother or his pack members, it made a nice change to be around someone who's secrets he didn't already know all about - In great detail.
He had always been one of the younger pack members, and an incredibly relaxed, carefree boy. Though with all the patrols Sam kept handing out and the increase in pressure on the Uley pack to keep the rez safe after Jacob decided to split off, he'd been kind of... Well stressed. That would be the only word he could think to describe it. He was too young to be stressed, it wasn't something he enjoyed.
Sitting on the edge of the cliff, he looked over into the water down below. He'd brought a picnic basket with him filled with sandwiches, chocolate and his mom's famous butter cookies, it'd be sunset soon. He always did love the sunset especially up here, in the La Push cliffs you could see everything around for miles. Who wouldn't love that? Besides, Hails was new to town, he had to show her this, he knew she'd love it. He sat patiently, legs hanging over the edge, hair down and sort of scruffy because he hadn't sorted it out after running through the forest, a calm smile crept across his face.
This was how it should be at his age, right now - He just didn't care about what he was supposed to be responsible for.
