Please take the time to read this thread each time it is announced as being updated, as it is mandatory.
MOVE TO SEATTLE: -
As of December 2018, the site has moved to Seattle, Washington. We will only have three sections for the city on-site: Downtown, The Glades and the Bayou. To keep the site plot on-par, the Seattle Glades would have also endured an "undertaking" in 2014 by Malcolm Merlyn's business partners residing there.
Applications to be submitted as "Martin, Lydia" with no thread description. Works in progress should be submitted as "[WIP] Martin, Lydia". All applications should be completed by February 28th, 2018. Images must be 500x500 in black and white; gif images are 135x65. All images must be re-hosted. They will be written in third person from here on out, and will be accepted only by Shantel, Bri and Kayleigh.
NEW CHARACTERS: -
We ask that your previously-made character has at least 25 posts prior to creating a new character. 5 of those posts must be threaded posts, 5 must be shipper posts, 5 must be character communication posts while the remaining 10 can be your choosing.
ACTIVITY CHECKS: -
To pass an activity check, every character must have 3 posts. Two of these posts can be in shippers, character communication boards, etc..., but at least one post must be threaded. If this isn't something that you can achieve, we ask that you reach out prior to the closing date. Should you not, we will have no choice but to flag any account that has not met the requirements as inactive. This will mean that you will be given one month to produce the posts you are missing from the last activity check, as well as the posts you are required to complete for the next activity check, for a total of six post.
FINISHING THREADS: -
Threads must be completed within 3 months.
ADMIN TEAM: -
Brittany has been added to the admin team.
TAGGING POSTS: -
We will no longer tag posts as [IP], [OPEN], [INVITES], etc... Instead, your thread title will be whatever you choose it to be "Look what you made me do", for example. If it's an open thread, you will leave the thread description blank until someone joins it. When someone joins, you will edit the description to be @FIRST LAST. When you create a thread for someone, we ask you tag them in the description @FIRST LAST. Should there be two characters you wish to have join your thread, it would be @FIRST LAST @FIRST LAST. Should there be more than two aside from yours, the description should be @GROUP THREAD.
MATURE CONTENT: -
Mature content will no longer be housed in "mature boards". You are free to create mature threads wherever you see fit. Sexual threads should be tagged "[M] Look what you made me do", and threads involving violence, self-harm, sexual assault, alcohol abuse or drug use should be tagged "[TW] Look what you made me do".
BIRTHDAY CLAIM: -
We ask that every member takes the time to ensure their character's birthdays (and upcoming ages) are added and correct. You can find the birthday claim here
FACE CLAIM: -
The face claim list has been updated. We require all members to claim future faces when applications are accepted and when posting wanted ads, to reserve those face claims and to prevent too many doubles. You can find the face claim list here
HOUSING CLAIM: -
We will no longer have individual boards for character houses on-site in an effort to limit the number of boards. Instead, character houses will be displayed in housing claims. We ask that, if your housing claim has not been added, that you take the time to do so here
. Wolf sanctuary claims are not added here. You will also find a master housing claim list here as the second post.
WOLF SANCTUARY HOUSING: -
Because the werewolf sanctuary runs differently than other housing areas on-site, it has a separate claim. If you have any wolves that wish to reside here, please have them post a claim here
. Any vampires or vampire hybrids must seek approval from the sanctuary council prior to doing so. You will also find a master sanctuary housing list here as a second post.
SANCTUARY COUNCIL: -
The werewolf sanctuary is overseen by Benedict Dunn, Claire-Julia Dunn and Vincent Albright. They vote on who can reside here and visit. You can read more about the council here
WOLF SANCTUARY EXCEPTIONS: -
Vampires and vampire hybrids must seek permanent or temporary exceptions to visit or reside on the werewolf sanctuary. All claims will be voted on by the sanctuary council. You can submit your claim to be reviewed here
. You will also find the lists of accepted exceptions in the two posts in that thread.
JOB INDEX CLAIM: -
If your character has a job, we ask that you add it to the claim list which can be found here
MEMBER INDEX: -
We ask all members complete a member index. This will help current members and new members see which members are playing which characters. You can find this claim list here
