PLOT WITH Aiden
give in to that easy living
GOODBYE TO MY HOPES AND DREAMS
Every once in awhile Aiden got himself into situations that had himself questioning his life. Like his current situation, sitting at the police station, just waiting for his mom or Vince or one of their team members to realize that he wasn't there for a social visit and take action. Put him in jail overnight so he can 'learn his lesson' or whatever.

Which really may not be that bad of a thing. Maybe someone would actually talk to him then...He rolled his eyes at the thought. He craved attention, sure, but he wasn't desperate. He just wished people would acknowledge his existence a bit more. He figured it wasn't a lot to ask, but that was relative, apparently.

He banged his head against the wall a few times as he sat there waiting, his lips flapping quietly as he blew out a frustrated puff of air. All of this for a girl. Well, and a Charmander, but frankly...the only reason he had been out Pokemon Go hunting was for the girl he had met a few days ago at the coffee shop.

He had gone in just to grab coffee and a doughnut and instead made a new friend in the cute pink-haired barista, so he had found reasons to go there every day since Sunday. He didn't even need coffee for energy - he had enough of that naturally - but he still ordered coffee and a danish of some kind just so he could talk to her.

So when she asked if he ever played Pokemon Go, of course he said yes. He wanted to impress the girl and figured it was a small enough lie that he could easily turn into the truth before it became an issue. Except she asked him to go hunting that night, and he couldn't say no...

He should have thought about it a bit more especially when she wanted to meet after 10, which would definitely mean he'd be out past his curfew. Which was stupid, but he still lived at home so he had to do what his mom said. He tended to stay out of trouble, at least willful trouble, but still...But how could he tell this really adorable, pretty girl that he had a curfew? She'd laugh at him and he'd never be able to show his face at the coffee shop.

Good choice or not, he met her at the front of the coffeeshop, Pokemon Go loaded up on his phone with his beginning pokemon Squirtle at a level 3 or whatever - he didn't quite get it but he had Googled some talking points so he'd sound informed at least...

He had quickly discovered that Pokemon Go was not his thing. Walking around aimlessly and ‘catching’ cartoon monsters...Still, he had fun with her, and it was pretty obvious they were flirting. She had grabbed his hand at one point, but almost immediately let it go because she saw a gym nearby.

Yeah, that gym just happened to be behind a fence marked “Private Property.” Aiden knew better. He really did! After all, his family was in law enforcement. He knew what Private Property meant. But she begged him and pouted and he was a sucker so he hoisted her over the fence and climbed up after her. So, naturally, when the cops showed up just as she was taking on the gym leader…He was resigned to his fate.

She ran, with his encouragement, he took the fall, and luckily they recognized him and his last name quickly enough that they didn’t bother cuffing him. He just hoped that she got out fast enough and that he’d be able to go by the coffee shop later to see that she was alright…

He’d be in some deep shit, he knew that. Vince might laugh it off but his mom…He didn’t know if she was working that night, but he kind of hoped not. If he was lucky, a beat cop who was afraid of his mom would meet him and let him off the hook, but the word would still spread. He was bracing himself for the punishment, regardless. He did have a fear that his punishment would be to go live with his dad, and the thought of that actually terrified him. His knee started to bounce with anxiety, waiting to figure out what his fate was that evening.
THANKS!
